Coach Lewis’s annual spring camp is two and a half day adventure into your
Triathlon training limits. The
weekend is based on physically hard but achievable tri related training. Along
with the training, comes form and technique guidance, evaluations plus a bit
individual and team competition. In
addition, will be individual video analysis of both your swim and running forms.
All this – and fun too! It is ideal for
triathletes who want to sharpen their skills and see where they stand at the
beginning of a new season as well for new triathletes
who have the basic skills but want to
learn how to put them together for racing.
The camp will be held this year at the AAA Tri Camp facility which located at
14310 Bay Lake Road in Groveland, Florida 34736. It is about 6 miles west of
Clermont off of S.R. 50. The camp is
located on 10 acres of great training land and has a well equipped gym and spin
studio. The sleeping accommodations
are bunk beds in two gender specific rooms with 3-4 private baths and private
showers in each. The camp fee of
$250 is inclusive of everything – room, board, meals, training, video analysis
and fatigue*.
Camp check in will be at 1600 hours on Friday and the first session will begin
at 1700 hours. Saturday will be a
full day starting at 0600 hours and the rap up will be with a lunch on Sunday. A detailed schedule and a list of
things you will need are below. The
camp is limited to 20 people. Active
TriLewis Club members will have priority until the end of January. If you want to participate,
just complete and return the attached application to Coach Lewis.
